This year we've got a longer holiday vacation compared last year. Our vacation started on the 20Th of December. since that day...I woke up 3:00 A.M to prepare then attend the Misa de Gallo at 4:30 A.M, after the mass, my friends and I will go and eat "miki" then after, we will go by the seashore and wait for the sunrise, then, go home to do my tasks...routine..poutine..routine!!!
My best friend invited me to celebrate Christmas in their house. At home we didn't prepare too much and its been a culture to do so because the day after tomorrow is been our feast. On 25,Christmas day, my aunt order me to buy everything needed for tomorrow's occasion. It is a pretty-good experience to buy so many recipes. and on 26,feast day, I help in preparing everything. Every year our feast is been our reunion. I am so happy when this day comes because only once in a year that we could get together!
Then after sometime,December 31 comes unconsciously. Again, my brother-in-law invited me to celebrate new year with them. it is my first time to celebrate it with them so I agreed excitedly. I ask them to fetch me around 5:00 P.M, I've waited patiently, 2 hours and 30 minutes passed and I'm about to lose hope and thought that they wouldn't fetch me anymore but thank god, my cousin fetch me around 7:30 P.M. I really enjoyed my new year and they really prepared for media noche! Its worth it!
I wont forget that day so I'm looking forward that if ever they would invite me again, I wont think twice to accept their offer!!!..
